Question : Can I push a shared printer to everyone via active directory?
I know via a logon script I can map network drives to everyone. I do this for all my users on the network. However, I manually add the printers to all workstations. Is there anyway I can add a logon script that will take the two shared printers on the server and give everyone access?
Assuming so, what will this do to workstations that already have the printer setup locally when they login to the domain? Workstations are mostly all Win XP with one or two Vista machines.
Thanks!

You can do it using a vbscript like the one in
this article
. Any local printers would be unaffected.
If any of your DCs are running Server 2003 R2 then you can also deploy printers
via group policy
.
