Question : FileMaker Pro 8.5 hidden field control
Newbie FM Pro guy, trying to figure out how to set a field not visible on a form, if at all possible. Maybe there is a better solution. Here is what I am trying to do. Have a form with many calculations on it. Some calculations are dependant on other calculations. I don't want to show the user these "scratch" area calculations, only want to show them the final calcs. How do I make it so these scratch area pre-calcs aren't seen by the users?
thx experts

Answer : FileMaker Pro 8.5 hidden field control
Unless you need to see them in some instances, you can simply remove them from the layout. FileMaker will still do those calculations even though they are not visible.
