Question : How can I push out local machine admin passwords?

Hello all -

I am in a situation where the PCs in AD here all have different local passowrds for the Administrator account. Some may be set to .

I want to find a way to push out to all PCs a local administrator password that I choose.

How can this be done?

Answer : How can I push out local machine admin passwords?

in AD users and computers open the computer container, one of the options at the top lets you export them as a .csv file

you can then open the .csv file with either notepad or Excell and copy and pase the computernames out :)

you can the write a simple batch file using the resetPW.exe (link above) NOTE do this under an account with admin priveledges.

obviously you will need to arrange for all the PC's to be ON when you run it - if anyone fails then you can see the error level and it will tell you which machine you have missed
