Question : can't add thumbnail of image attachment to wordpress post

Hi,

I'm facing a weird issue. usually when I attach an image to a wordpress post, it gives me three options: to show it either as full size, thumbnail or as a text hyperlink.

now, I was trying to attach an image. when it asked me how I wanted to display it on the editor, the second option (thumbnail) was missing. I tried attaching other files and the option was available. why is it just this one that won't display as a thumbnail?

Your original graphic  was  3827 X 6142 pixels = width 53.153 X  85.306 inches

I reduced the image in Photoshop 827 X 1327 pixels = 11.486 X 18.431 inches

I could have reduced it even more but was just testing to see why it would not thumbnail in wp :)
