Question : Group policy for windows automatic updates on windows server 2008

Hi

I want to find the group policy for windows server 2008 to disable automatic updates for windows and rather select download but let me choose when to install. right now the option to change anythign is greyed out. I am asuming it 's group policy, how do i change it to accomplish what i want.

The Group Policy is Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Configure Automatic Updates.

Use the rsop.msc tool at the server and drill down to that location if you need to determine which policy at the server is being used to set the setting.
