Question : Outlook won't send web page within email message body
|
|
If I browse to the following site http://www.turnerinvestments.com/index.cfm
And pull down File >> Send >> "page by email", then the web page appears perfectly rendered in the body of the message, with the subject line *.htm, and it sends/receives fine.
If I do the exact same thing with this site
http://www.turnerinvestments.com/turnerEmail/email_template/turnerinvestmentpartners.htm
Then I get the subject line *.txt and a text file attachment that contains all the site code. Nothing in the body of the email.
NOTHING is different between these attempts, other than the page I'm trying to send.
Edited to add -- My browser is IE 6

You need to add the page you want to send to your favorites folder in IE.
Then Open up Outlook and click on the Favorites menu and then select the page. in the Actions menu select "Send Web Page by E-Mail"
You should be able to send it now...
I had the same problems you did, but the above solution worked on my machine...
let me know what happens on your machine...
