Distribution list is part of the contacts list, which is part of PST file. Look for archive.pst file or a backup PST file. PST file is located in C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder. It is a hidden folder. Open Windows Explorer folder and select Tools > Folders Options > View. Check "Show hidden files and folders". Click OK.
