Question : Is there a better way to write formula than use a nested if statement?

Hello, I am trying to write a formula that would be read something like this:

If value Z is greater than value 1 input value 1A, otherwise if value Z is greater than value 2 input value 2A, otherwise if value Z is greater than value 3 input value 3A.

I have about 70 "Z" values and about 31 conditional values (1, 2, 3, etc) that I need to apply this formula against.  A nested if won't work

I was thinking some sort of array formula would work but I can't figure it out.

See this is what exactly i meant, I aligned the data in a table like i showed you earlier and then applied a formula and if you see the results are exactly the same what you were getting.

All you need to note that the data is sorted in ascending order.
