You can't remove security through a menu item. Here's a tutorial:

Often ULS is used in conjunction with other things, like filtering records for specific users, allowing certain users to view certain items, etc etc ... if you're not clear as to the impact this will have on your application, you might consider having someone review this for you before doing this. Note also that you'll need the secured workgroup file to do this, and you must do this while logged in as a member of the Admins group (or another group with similar permissions).
