Question : Autoupdate

I have two databases, one having all the tables and the other having all forms and reports. I made a link to the forms database. How can auto update the table-database when I enter data in the other forms database?

Actually I copies these two databases on the server and I want to give some people read only access and some people read & write. Please help.

can you navigate to the folder containing the db using network neighourhood and link the tables that way ?

e.g.
\\ServerName\DatabaseDir\Database.mdb

using this method removes the need to know how each individual client is linked to the share on the network.
