Question : Problem opening shared calendar

Hi there,

I hope you can help me as I was not able to find my particular issue in the list of similar Outlook 2007 questions on Shared Calendars.

Since I recently updated to Office 2007, I lost the ability to view a couple of shared calendars that I have access to. I tried opening the calendars from the File | Open |Other User's Folder as well as clicking on the link to "Open a Shared Calendar..." to no avail.

Instead, I receive the following error message:

You do not have permission to view this calendar.
Do you want to ask to share his or her Calendar with you?

I'd prefer to avoid the laborious task of reverting back to Outlook 2003 just to view these two calendars again if there's a solution I can employ for Outlook 2007.  Is there one and do you know why Outlook 2007 will not recognize the permissions as Outlook 2003 does?
