Question : Replication jobs showing a status of "No replicated Transactions are available" - why?

Hi there

Have setup replication jobs on serverA going to serverB.  When I initially ran the Snapshot and Distribution jobs the jobs worked fine.  The second time the Distribution job ran it is showing a status of "IDLE" when i would expect "SUCCEEDED"  but the Last Action column is showing the text "No replicated Transactions are available" when I would expect it to show "applied the snapshot to the subscriber"

Anyone have any idea why this is happening.

Looks like nothing have changed since first snapshot, so SQL Server see no needs to make a new snapshot.
