Question : Reporting services + Changing the machine name
I have a machine here that is running SQL Server 2000 Standard and Reporting Services with a reporting website.
Last night, I attempted to change the machine name on our domain and it broke the reporting services - the app said it could not connect to the local database server.
My question is, I've been reading about some sort of configuration tool for reporting services - will this allow me to change the config to connect to the new machine name? I couldn't find anything in the config files that allows for a new machine name.
Can someone help me either find this tool, or point me in the right direction as far as the process of renaming a machine and how not to break Sql Server reporting services? The machine is running 2003 Server Standard.
Thanks in advance.
