Question : Editing Headers & Footers a certain way.
Hi again experts,
I'm working on a 17 page document that requires a certain format. The first page of the document does not have a header or a footer because it is a title page, and that's OK. When i view headers and footers it shows this page as Section 1 and the rest of the pages are section two. Now the document has a header that is on every page except the first (title) page and also a footer that labels each page a number, after the title page of course. Now what I'm trying to do is remove the header from Page 2, but keep the footer the same. I attempted to impliment a page break, but when i do that it just start's the footers over again and leaves me with multiple page numbers being the same. So pretty much what i'm trying to do is generate a new Section ONLY for a header on a certain page. Is this possible?

If there is already a Section break, you probably don't need a Page break as well. In the Header and Footer tool bar that you get with the Header and Footer view, there is button called Link To Previous. If that is set, the header or footer is copied from the previous section, and any change to the header or footer will change for both sections. If it is not set, they can be edited separately.
