Question : Can you add a linux box to an Active directory using the GUID?
Thanks to one of the fine experts here I am able to add a linux box to an AD domain using likewise on ubuntu. What I am wondering now is, can I create a computer account on the windows box and assign the GUID created using uuidgen in order to add the linux box to the domain?
When I fill in the GUID on the windwos server during computer account creation the n"next" button stayes gray and won't allow me to click it to proceed. Any thoughts on this one?
