Question : Net View shows nothing.

HI,
I have a Windows 2003 SBS server.  When i go to dos on the server and type in Net View i get a blank list, like there are no items on the network.  When i do this at another company i get a list of everything that is on the network.

Can anyone help please?

Answer : Net View shows nothing.

"net view" still relies on NetBIOS/WINS. To use it (and the Network neighborhood), make sure that:
* a WINS server is running (usually on a DC or the DCs) and WINS replication is setup if using more than one WINS server,
* the WINS server is used by all machines,
* NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled,
* the Computer Browser service is running on all machines (except on multi homed machines)
