Hi
I cannot remove exchange 2003 from my server. I get the following error when try to uninstall it:
"The component "Microsoft Exchange Forest Preparation" cannot be assigned the action "Remove" because:
- To install the first exchange server in a domain, or to run setup in "/ForestPrep" mode, you must be an Exchange Full Administrator at the organizational level. You must use an account that has been granted the Full Exchange Administrator role on the Exchange organization using the Exchange Administrative Delegation Wizard."
When I checked the delegation wizard it had the following accounts listed as Full Exhange Administrators:
- DOMAIN\Administrator
- DOMAIN\Domain Admins
- DOMAIN\Account <-- my account
When I tried to change the permissions on the Exchange, I got the following errors:
- "Failed to remove permission from DOMAIN\Account on this object: ."
- "The delegation wizard could not grant/change permissions for: DOMAIN\Account."
