Question : Exchange 2000 error -1526
|
|
I have an Exchange 2000 server running on Windows 2000 server standard. When I try to run the eseutil with the /d to defragment my database I get this error:
Operation terminated with error -1526 (JET_errLVCorrupted, Corruption encountered in long-value tree) after 44.62 seconds.
Next I tried to run the Isinteg utility. I used this command: C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\BIN>isinteg -s servername -fix -test alltests I used the real server name in place of servername.
This is the result: Index Status Database-Name Storage Group Name: First Storage Group 1 Offline Mailbox Store (servername) 2 Offline Public Folder Store (servername) Enter a number to select a database or press Return to exit. 1 You have selected First Storage Group / Mailbox Store (servername). Continue?(Y/N)y Test Categorization Tables result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s) ; time: 0h:0m:15s Test Restriction Tables result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s); t ime: 0h:1m:5s Test Search Folder Links result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s); time: 0h:0m:2s Test Global result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 1 row(s); time: 0h:0m:0 s Test Delivered To result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 206 row(s); time: 0h:0m:0s Test Repl Schedule result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s); time: 0h:0m:0s Test Timed Events result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 1 row(s); time: 0 h:0m:0s Test reference table construction result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s); time: 0h:1m:22s Test Folder result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 148 fix(es); 6690 row(s); time: 0h :5m:33s Test Deleted Messages result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s); tim e: 0h:0m:0s Test Message result: 2 error(s); 1 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 123357 row(s); time: 0 h:1m:48s Test Attachment result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 40499 row(s); time: 0h:0m:9s Test Mailbox result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 158 row(s); time: 0h:0 m:1s Test Sites result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 630 row(s); time: 0h:0m: 0s Test Categories result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 161 row(s); time: 0 h:0m:0s Test Per-User Read result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 263 row(s); time : 0h:0m:0s Test special folders result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s); time : 0h:0m:0s Test Message Tombstone result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 1743 row(s); time: 0h:0m:0s Test Folder Tombstone result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 0 fix(es); 0 row(s); tim e: 0h:0m:0s Test reference count verification result: 0 error(s); 0 warning(s); 24 fix(es); 0 row(s); time: 0h:0m:10s Now in test 21(Row Count/Dumpster Count) of total 21 tests; 100% complete. I then tried the eseutil with the /d to defragment my database again and got the same error.
I then tried the Isinteg utility again and got this result:

C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\BIN>pause Press any key to continue . . .
I then tried the eseutil again with the /d to defragment my database again and got the same error.
I cant find any information on what to do next. I do have backups but the backups have the same problem. Any help with this would be great.
Thanks Mike

Just google the syntax or figure it out using /? as I recall I only used /p and left rest to defaults. Good luck.
