Question : MMC snap in error while opening AD icon or ESM in exchange server 2003

Hello there
I am running exchange server 2003 ent editoin.  I just updated my machine to some of the security patches from microsoft.  When I restarted my machine and tried to right click any mailbox 'mailboxes' from Mailbox store' it gave me (MMC has detected an error in a snap in. It is recommended that you should shut down and restart MMC....
-Report this error to microsoft
- Continue running and ignore errors with this snap in for the rest of the sessoin
-Continue running and always ignore errors with this snap in.................
If I select third option it closes the ESM.  Note that my exchange AD for users also has the same error if I click on any users...
Please help to fix it.
