Question : Cannot mount recovery storage group DATABASE!
I work on an MS Exchange Server 2003. For Backing up the mailbox stores, I use the NTBackup tool that comes with Windows. Last week I had to restore a single mailbox using the recovery storage group method. After a successful restore of the database using the NTBackup tool, I tried to mount the restored database, but the operation failed with the following error message:
"An internal processing error has occurred. Try restarting the Exchange System Manager or the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service, or both.
ID no: c1041724 "
I did what was mentioned in the error message, but it didn't work.
So, I would be grateful if anybody could help me solving this problem.
Answer : Cannot mount recovery storage group DATABASE!
yes. the log files folders will be seperate for your production storage group and for the recovery storage group.
also, can you search for restore.env file and let me know if you find it?
