Question : How to resend badmail - nothing in badmail folder, only display in badmail que

Using Exchange 2003.  Our Notes connect went down over the weekend and eventually, all mail went to the badmail que.  I have found, by default that the badmail folder is not enabled and you must add registry entries to make it work like Exchange 2000.

From the badmail que, my only option is to delete with no NDR.  Since these emails do not show up in the badmail folder and only in the que, is there any way resend these messages?  If I can see the emails in the badmail que, they must be stored somewhere, right?  Please help!

Answer : How to resend badmail - nothing in badmail folder, only display in badmail que

You will not see anything in the badmail folder if the registry changes haven't been made to enable it.
Pickup is always empty - anything stuck in there is a bad sign.
Therefore the only place you would see anything is in the queue folder.

If the queue folder doesn't contain the messages then they have been bounced back to the sending server and cannot be redelivered.

Simon.
