Question : Calendar journaling messages stuck in Submission queue with Event ID 9213 logged in app log every 30 mins
Our main Exchange servers on both sites both have two stuck journaling messages in the submission queue. They cannot be deleted or removed via Exchange. This results in an error message in the event log every 30 mins. Event message is:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event Category: Categorizer
Event ID: 9213
Date: 8/12/2008
Time: 8:45:43 AM
User: N/A
Computer: EDIMAIL01
Description:
A non-expirable message with the internal message ID 561324 could not be categorized. This message may be a journal report or other system message. The message will remain in the queue until administrative action is taken to resolve the error. Other messages may also have encountered this error. To further diagnose the error, use the Queue Viewer or the Mail Flow Troubleshooter.

.
When you go into Exchange Queue Viewer you get this:
400 4.4.7 The Server responded with: 550 5.6.0 M2MCVT.StorageError: storage error in content conversion. The failure was replaced by a retry response becasue the message was marked for retry if rejected
I have already found and discounted the reasons within this technet article:
