Question : create edge subscription exchange 2007

The self signed secure certificate was about to expire on my exchange edge server. I used the get-exchangecertificate | New-Exchangecertificate to renew my certifccate. That worked fine but thenit gave me a warning saying I need to renew my edge subscription. How do I do this? The hub transport server is unable to comminicate with the edge server now and I'm not receiving any outside email.
