Question : Access Denyed with Squid

Hi This is first time i am configuring squid,
so i want to make it simple.
the Squid box has 2 ether net card : eth0 192.168.2.120 [ connected to isp]
                                                           eth1 10.0.0.1   [ Connected to internal network]
i have followed : http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/howto-rhel-centos-fedora-squid-installation-configuration.html
i have Added this 2 lines in squid.conf

acl our_networks src 192.168.2.0/24 10.0.0.0/24
http_access allow our_networks

Squid starting fine.
but when i try to browse without the proxy setting , it does browse but it dont use squid [ because access.log is empty]
now if i put proxy setting 10.0.0.1  : 3128 [ it wil say access is denyed]

what will i have to do to make it work ??
Please point me to right direction other then sent me complex  tutorial as i said, i want to make it simple as its my first time.

I can telnet to port 3128
Thanks for advise.
