Question : Why is inbound email not coming through Exchange 2007?
I have had Exchange 2007 running for a couple of years now and have just experienced an odd problem. Inbound email from the Internet has stopped because it is not being relayed. I have 25 users and have the mailbox, client, and hub roles on one server and the edge transport role on another server. Sometime last night inbound and outbound email stopped. Errors in the queueing toold, event viewers, and other places pointed to the two servers not trusting each other. I use a third party vendor cert which has not expired. I have tried redoing the edge subscription twice but it won't start because it can't connect to the LDAP server (AD server?). The synch.pdf attachment shows the results of the Start-EdgeSynchronization command. I do have outbound email working but still can't get the inbound to work. On the edge transport server the send connector and accepted domains to not get synched with the other server due to this inability to connect. I think inbound will work when those objects get synchronized. Thanks for any help.

I am sure you might have done some mistake following the steps...
Any ways you created a new certificate as per my advice... for the event 12014 etc..
