Question : Roaming Profiles

In my network i have users with romaing profiles.  they access the servers via Wyse and windows xp desktop pc,s when they log on their proifle is loaded to the server that they are on but their home folder is on a main user profile server that is backed up every night, I have enabled under GP on our windows 2000 server domain the GP for delete profile upon exiting.  have done a gpupdate /force on all of the servers.  the problem is that for exisiting user this policy is not working but when you create a new account for a user it WORKS fine. what is the problem.

Answer : Roaming Profiles

It has to do with the fact that the existing profiles are considered local not roaming. You should delete all existing profiles before changing over to roaming.
