Question : How do I create this button?

How do I create a button like the one attached?  It has beveled edges and a gradient. I'm not a Photoshop expert by the way.  Detailed steps would be helpful.

This button will be used in an iPhone app so I need it to resize (not by much) without issue.  I believe how ever it is created in Photoshop won't have an affect on my resizing it in Interface Builder (iPhone design tool).
