Question : HTTP errors - occurred after infection by trojan

Yesterday my machine became infected by a trojan - which was promptly detected and cleaned - evidently not before causing all kinds of havoc on my machine. It made Spybot S&D inoperable, disabled the Windows Security Service, and is causing HTTP 401.2 errors - I can't get to the microsoft.com update site, can't get to the S&D site to re-download the software, can get to this site (obviously) - have checked everything I know to check - ran a McAfee scan - caught the initial infection - and supposedly cleaned it - then the S&D scan caught it again - or another interation of it. I checked all the internet settings, they seem okay - not sure how to proceed. I waited on hold with Dell for 2 hours and am not hanging on with their online chat - to see if they can help me. This happened once before and I was able to figure it out. I ran Hijack this - I pasted the HijackThis log file below because I can't get to the HijackThis site to request an analysis of it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am unable to work today because of this.

If you can log on as a different user you may be able to get to www.malwarebytes.org
If so, download, update and then run it in Safe Mode.
If you cannot log on as a different user and get to this site, then download the program to a thumb drive, etc. and install on your system.
You need to rename any antimalware files prior to loading onto your system.
ie, malwarebytes.exe rename to something like MWB.exe
Do the same with Combofix.
