Question : How to plug an IDE cable from a motherboard to a laptop's Hard drive

Hi, I need to retrieve information from a laptop drive, a FUJITSU MHT2030AT. I already have the cable, a CABLEPLUS E96118, with one end that goes in the laptop HD and the other side on a desktop's motherboard.

The thing is, I heard that if I plug it with the wrong pins, it can ruin my HD, because there are black and red wires on the side of the cable that plugs on the laptop HD to provide power so I need pin information, but I can't find it on the internet.
