Question : DistinctCount

I've done it before but can't remember. How do i insert the DistinctCount in a report. i'm trying to toal the number of employee's in a company and then create a sub-total.

Answer : DistinctCount

right click on the field you want to count, choose insert summary, then from the drop down list choose distinct count.  Ensure that the grouping is correct before you press OK.

If you need any further assistance with it, it can be done through formulas as well, and can have other arguments passed to it apart from the field name.  Just ask if you want to know how to do this...
