Question : Installation of Application with OCX errors

I am installing an application on a Windows XP Pro (SP2).  During installation it gives two errors where OCX files will need to be registered manually or are corrupted.  I tired to manually register these two files , but after looking in the Windows System Foler, these two files are not listed (even though I selected to view hidden files and folders.   I can not open the application because it continues to give errors regarding these two files.  Any help would be appreciated.  I was hoping that Microsoft would have a patch ..but can't seem to find one.  Thanks in advance

Answer : Installation of Application with OCX errors

I've had similar issues with the Groupwise client.  In the past all I've had to do is copy the .ocx files from the install directory (or another machine) to the %systemroot%\system32 folder.  They will not have to be registered if you put them there since they will be in the path.
