Question : difficulty with transparent GIF outputs
If I have a layer with type on it, and no other layers, and save as a GIF with transparency, it completely destroys the rendering of the type, making it nearly unreadable. Is there a better way to do this?
In general, is GIF transparency always determined by the transparency of my layers, or is it possible to assign a specific color to be transparent? I thought maybe I could do that with the matte selection, but that doesn't seem to work.
Thanks!
Answer : difficulty with transparent GIF outputs
Try doing it at 300 pixels per inch and then saving for web as a gif
If the file size is an issue try saving at 100 pixels per inch
by saving for web you can do a 2 up comparison of quality loss with original
