Question : Microsoft Outlook is offline

I have Outlook 2007 installed, and actually the same problem was occurring before that when I had 2003 installed, but in my system tray there is an icon that shows that Microsoft Outlook is offline.  As a result, the Send/Recieve every 5 minutes is not working.  I have to manually click this button to send and receive my email.

I was doing contract work for a company that had exchange server and I once configured my outlook to work with their server.  Ever since, this problem has existed.

I do not have any accounts in outlook that look at their server anymore.

How can I get my Send/Receive to automatically work again?

Thanks!

Answer : Microsoft Outlook is offline

Hello daveokst,

In Outlook, go to File and uncheck Work Offline.

Hope this helps!
