I need to be able to run on my fileserver that will generate me a CSV file showing the acl for that particular folder. This will be used as the basis to import into database that will be updated when a permissions change request comes in so that when asked "who can access this folder and what rights do they have" we can search the databse.
I know that I could just look at the folder in question when asked, but we want to be able to present the section heads with a list of their folders and ask them "are you happy with this" and also generate a list of users in each department and show which folders they can access, again asking the department heads if they agree.
I have already used showacls.exe fromthe windoes 2003 server ResKit and whilst very good, doesnt give the data in CSV format.
