Question : Mobile Sync issue
|
|
My phone has been syncing perfectly to my vista ultimate desktop - until a few days ago. I called my cell phone company because the time wasn't updating on my phone since the time change; desktop was fine. They had me install a Daylight Savings Patch from Microsoft which fixed the problem with the time - but now syncing is not working. Sync in Progress just goes on and on and on. I've unchecked all items to sync and then the Sync Center (MS Device Center 6.1) says Sync Complete. I can browse my phone's files through the Device Center, no problem. I can check the Notes option to sync and that works - but none of the other sync options do, like Calendar, Contacts, etc. The Sync in Progress starts and never stops - even if I click on the Stop Sync button. (This says Stop Sync in Progress.)
Nother has changed on the desktop except that I've uninstalled and reinstalled the same version of Mobile Device Center. I've deleted and let Vista reinstall the Network Card and Pocket PC drivers.
Any suggestions?

I have figured it out. I plugged the phone in one last time and ran Windows Update. It installed a missing driver for the phone and now everything's working. Thanks for your help........
