Question : Find out if .NET Framework 1.1 is install, other than through the Control Panel
Hi,
when I go to 'start->control panel-add remove programs' I cannot see .Net Framework 1.1 in the list, however, when I download .Net Framework 1.1 from the MS website and try to run it, I get a message stating that the .Net Framework 1.1 is already installed.
Is there something wrong, or is there another means of removing the .Net Framework 1.1 so that I can re-install it?
Thanks

If you go into control panel, administrative tools, do you see the .net wizard? if so it is installed. Here is a link to uninstall .net manually:

May I ask why you need to uninstall it?
