Question : Exchange OWA 2003
|
|
Hi all..
I've got an Exchange 2003 server currently working for internal OWA (http:///exchange - then the users log in...
I'm looking into getting Exchange working from the web. However the Microsoft course i've taken only shows me how to do with a FE and BE server.
I know I could just publish the server to the web (etc etc) and point all requests to http:///exchange and then as its only one exchange server, get the user to log in.. But i'd like to make it look like the OWA with a FE and BE server looks like.
This means using http:///exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp However currently when i try to logon as [email protected] or Domain.local\username it comes up with this page can not be displayed on page http:///exchweb/bin/auth/owaauth.dll
Can OWA bet setup to work like this without a FE / BE server in place and am I missing something obvoius? Any notes or links any has would be much aprec.
Thanks Rob

It looks like we all missed that. You MUST use SSL for FBA to be active. If you aren't using SSL then the FBA screen will not come up.
