Question : Cannot establish connection between emulator and IIS on my machine
I am using VS2008, windows mobile 6 classic emulator on WinXP.
I created a new web service (virtual folder, same machine) and a new mobile app.
I can get to the web service from a browser I see the service and all looks ok.
Coming from the mobile emulator, I get the following:
If I am trying to connect via localhost
{"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"}
If I try to connect via the machine name
http://MyMachine/myVirtFol
d/xxx.asmx
I get
could not establish connection to network.
Ive tried killing the firewall, changing permissions.
I dont know what else to try - or how to tell what the problem really is.
Thanks!
