Question : Firefox or Server Issue?

Hi Experts

I have two questions/issues. I'm using FF and Little Snitch.

The past day or so 90% of the 'do you want to connect to this URL'
have ended in 'edgesuite.net'.

I've Googled online, and here, for info.  Not much in the EE archives.

From what I can gather it is a service where mongo sites can get some sort of traffic cop server as a redirect for access.

I don't understand why suddenly almost every URL that I angle for ends with the edgesuite tag.

When I go in to FF and change the home page preference, sometimes I'll get right to the direct URL for awhile and eventually it shows up with the extended URL info. I've now set it for an 'edu' site and am not getting the same requests for the extended URL.

Secondly, I'm up for any opinions, and correct 'How Tos' for Little Snitch if these redirects could be related to those settings.

Thanks.

Answer : Firefox or Server Issue?

LS: When I'm in Safari, I get none of these prompts. If the attached images are LS interface, why wouldn't Safari get the same prompt?

Wow, you are just way detail then I can imagine. You both are talking over my head. :D. Let me throw in some additional ideas.

Most of the time when you see those prompts, they have been set in your browser security to generate warnings. Check in Tools--> Options --> Security of your FF. You will see a bunch of check boxes and a button "Settings" in Warning Message. If you don't want to see those anoying pop up, uncheck the boxes and warning message in Settings.
