Question : OUt of the office autoreply stuck in categorizer

I have an auto reply message setup on a mail box. When I send a test message to it I never get a responce. If I send an email from the exchange system it gets through to the destination. If I use the message tracking tool I find my reply message. It stops at Message Submitted to Categorizer.

Why would it be able to figure out a message generated by my user account but not one generated by the system.

By default, Out of office replies to internet are disabled in Exchange. You need to enable them using the KB given below:-
