Question : FTP Server on Windows 2000. Can I only have one + virtual ftp servers?
Hi
I have a webserver that hosts 50 domains.
I would now like to give them FTP access to them all so they can access their FTP via Internet Explore.
There is a default FTP that works, but I can not add more "Sites" as it will only accept one on that IP address. If i add another one, i have to stop the default to get it to work.
I then tought I had to make "Virtual ftp sites" for all the users
In this way they can access via
ftp://default_domain/virtu
al_domain
.
This works so they can see a list of files, but when trying to open the FTP site in "Open FTP in Windows Explorer". I can only open the "default Website" in Windows Explorer.
Question:
Can I when using FTP on IIS and open all the pages in Windows Explorer or can I not do that.
If not, would it work if I upgrade to Win 2003, if not any other alternatives?
Kind Regards
Morten
