Question : Reports/Forms Server

Hi,

This is a new installation of Oracle 8i on NT 4.0.  We installed the database first and then Developer 6i Reports server and Forms server using WebDB as the listener on the same machine. The database is running, I can connect with SQL Plus. I have updated tnsnames.ora in both oracle homes but I cannot get the Reports server or the Forms server to connect to the database. For instance, I try to run the test report and I get the following response:
Reports Server Replies:


REP-0501: Unable to connect to the specified database.

Answer : Reports/Forms Server

I think you need to check the DAD information specified for webdb listner.
