I want to make sure I understand your question. You are asking how to send (forward) a message containing a hyperlink to an appointment to someone else. Is that correct? If so, then is the appointment the hyperlink would point to on your calendar or will it be in a public folder? If the former, then I don't believe this will work. If the latter, then it should work just fine.
