Question : XP/2K3: Dump all file/folder permissions to text file.
Odd request I know, but I need a script that will dump all file and folder permissions from a drive to a text file. I thought cacls or icacls had an argument that did subfolders but I don't see one. Anyone have such a script?
Answer : XP/2K3: Dump all file/folder permissions to text file.
I have never used it but you may want to take a look at dumpsec. It is a free tool for doing what you are asking.
