Question : Can't open printer properties
|
|
Any time I try to open the properties of a printer, the Printer Settings screens just close. I can add printers, delete printers and change the default printer. I just can't do anything with the properties. Before you ask: Yes, the Spooler service is running and Automatic.

>"You want me to upgrade Netware to fix a printer problem in Windows"
That's not what I mean!
But we, as the respected IT professional, should have an open mind of looking forward. When you upgraded to Win2K, you know that you're going for the new stuff. And how'd you for sure any other vendors' products don't need to adjust a little bit in order to co-operate smoothly ?
Now let's get back to the topic.
Are you using Win2K provided Netware Client or installing the Novell Client ?
Novell has the latest Netware Client for NT/2000 V4.76 you probably wanna try.
On the other hand, Netware 4.11 has the latest patch8a, btu I'm not sure if you need that.
