Question : CTRl ALT DEL CONTAINS ALOT OF PROGRAMS
|
|
In Microsoft MSCONFIG, I eliminated all the unnecary items to free up resources. But how can I get into the location where CTRL ALT DEL is to do the same.
Here is the list: msmsgs stimon, attune_st armon32 wsloader ptsnoop mdm opwar16 opware32
explorer
everadsv aim rnaap everadsv atune_ce update Manager Real Play Conmgr
Start up has not one program Msconfig has 3 checked Performance 48% withe IE ver 5.5 open only.
This is definately frustrating, and have not found an answer in any of the troubleshooting books.
I think because of an accident to my head fronm a fire hydrant I a making this question complicatedd. .
I had a collision with a fire hydrant, Although I threw it 30 feet doen the road, I think it won, since I have a broken blood vessel near the learnng portion of the brain. Thus it takes time for me to absorb information.
If some kind soul would e-mail me I then can attach in Microsoft word the details, instead spending valuable time on what may be simple. Hopefully there is some one out there that can help me. Sincerely (Joe) gonzal13@earthlink.net
Also when I go to CTRL ALT DEL, depending what programs I have open they appear.
Of the ones below, which ones do I realy need?
Explorer Rnaapp Msmsgs Wsloader Dr Whatson. I do know I do not need DR Whatson, I guess I just highlight it and end task. But what enables it to be there in the first place.
Sincerly
Joe
Msconfig in the Start mode refers to various items. Can I eliminate from the HD thos that seem not needed? Some are duplicates.
I am now reviewing the answers.
