Question : Remote Login Software
Hello all,
I am looking for a good piece of software (preferably free/open source) that I can use to access machines remotely on my network. I would like to be able to log into the users' session (much like VNC), rather than connecting and creating my own session (which is why I can't use windows RDP.) I also have artists that sometimes have to walk over to other peoples machine to help them out. I would also like these artists to have access to this tool also, in order to save them leg time. I'm not sure if there is anything out there that I can tie into the Active Directory permissions schema or not (not a big deal if the software can't do the latter.)
This will go into every machine image I have, which is why I prefer an open source software; I would rather avoid licensing issues. Our network is a very standard Active Directory infrastructure and most machines are running XP SP3.
Does anybody have any recommendations? As always, thanks in advance for your help and support.
Mike
