Hi all,
Does anyone know how to take a spreadsheet from Access or Excel ie. (Customer#, Year, Type, Model, Price) and Import it into InDesign in a specific layout (probably using tags or similar)?
Thanks,
Dave

Are you using InDesign CS3? If not, this would be a good time to upgrade as CS3 includes Table Styles plugins which came from Teacup Software.
You setup your tables and format them according to plan assigning them Table styles. Then importing the Excel data as a link will preserve the formatting specified by the table styles.
This has the added advantage of being a dynamic link to the spreadsheet so that updates to the spreadsheet are automatically updated in InDesign when you next open the .indd file.
