Question : Accessing Stored Procedures, Packages in Oracle 10g via Visual Studio 2008

I'm using Visual Studio 2008 and asp.net.

I'm using an Oracle 10g database. Via the Server Explorer, I can see the tables and Procedures and Packages, but I can't seem to open them to edit or view them.

What do I need to be order to view/edit the stored procedures and packages?

I'm used to working with SQL Server, so I know little about Oracle.

I have the Oracle DevSuiteHome1 in my Program files, but I've tried two of the options there and they are fairly worthless.

Any ideas? thanks!

No, that's about their desktop express database. Not at all about accessing a remote real 10g database and altering the data.

Anyway, I am using Toad for Oracle. I really wanted to use something within Visual Studio, but I guess I'm not going to get an answer.

Thanks!
