Question : Print Screen from RDP session
I am trying to accomodate users who RDP (using mostly XP boxes) into our 2003 Terminal Server and use an app on it the Windows of which they would occasionally like to do a 'print screen'. The Terminal Server has a printer defined but it is a networked printer (local printer using an IP port). At a minimum it would be nice if they could capture an active Window and paste it into Paint on the TS and then print to the network printer. When I try doing a CTRL-ALT-PRTSCN (also tried the CTRL-ALT (minus) and (plus))
the contents of my Vista desktop (which includes the TS session) gets copied when all I wanted was the active window in the TS session. This seems to be the case for those users that do not run their RDP session in the Full Screen mode. Are there any apps that can be used to accomodate print screen captures or even printing an active window to a default printer in the TS?
Answer : Print Screen from RDP session
I ended up purchasing Gadwin System's Print Screen Pro. It works well.
